I'm looking for extraordinary, fresh-made cioppino now that Mise En Place has chumped out and taken it off the menu. Truth be told, the last one or two times I had it there (over a year ago), it was nowhere near the standard set by their original chef (sorry, don't know his name) who added a splash of sherry and safron drizzle to this off-the-chart treat. Alas, my cioppino guru/original Mise En Place chef has departed for parts/kitchens unknown, and the seafood stew void is palpable. If any of you out there know of a terrific cioppino place, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease, enlighten me post-haste. Also, if Mr. Original Mise En Place Chef has relocated at a new restaurant, I would love to know where. Thanks, all.
