Cinnamon Bun Reminded me of Cakemaster -- What Happened to it?

I had a taste of an awful store bought cinnamon bun, and starting telling my co-workers about the cinnamon danish I had as a kid (40 years ago - yikes!) at a bakery on Cumberland Avenue called Cakemaster. My family is from Buffalo, and whenever we made a trip to Toronto, we would get a few dozen to freeze (that is, whatever we couldn't eat).

These pastries were ungodly perfect. Buttery, flaky, yeasty, moist, full of cinnamon. What happened to this place? Is there anything else like it? (Anywhere? -- I have yet to have anything that comes close).
