I spent several days in San Francisco, and I planned my meals using this board. I ate at several chow-recommended places (Boulevard, China Village, Estia, Spices II, Shanghai Dumpling Shop, Home). But my best meal was at the Cinderella Bakery (Balboa and 5th, 415 751 9690). I got two items for take-out: a slice of salmon and cabbage pie and a triangular poppy seed pastry. Both were excellent. The pie had a thick, flaky, almost crunchy crust and a good combination of salmon and cabbage flavors. The pastry was a little dry but had lots of poppy seed flavor. They have both the pie and the pastry in several other flavors as well.
