The Indian restaurants in the city which we frequently visit are Shalimar and Naan and Curry. I liked Shalimar, and do not like Naan and Curry, but my wife is exactly vice versa. Last night, we decided to switch it up and try Chutney, which is right accross to Shalimar on Jones Street.

The place is very much cleaner than Shalimar and the food was incredible. My wife decided to be on a vegetarian meal plan this week, therefore we ordered the Palaak Paneer, and Paneer Tika Masala. I added a piece of Tandoori Chicken just for myself.

The Palaak Paneer was very creamy and tasty, we can taste all of the spices without actually biting into chunks of cloves (like in Shalimar). $4.99

The Paneer Tika Masala was even more delicious. I scooped up the last bit of the sauce with my Naan until I completely stuffed myself. I think this dish is much better than Shalimar's version. $4.99

The Tandoori chicken is hot off the Tandoor and nicely done, charred slightly at some places. $2.99

At the end we also had a small desert of Rice Pudding (Kheer) which is self serve, in a small container in the fridge. The rice pudding is sweet and creamy, delicious. $2.00

Total Dinner $17.00

Overall, this place has now become our favorite as we can finally come to a place where we both like.
