Churros dipped in thick hot chocolate?

Jaymes | Dec 14, 2013 11:59 AM

Elsewhere in the world, most notably Spain and Mexico, churros are often served with a thick hot chocolate, more like a chocolate sauce than a drink. For example, here's a website for a famous Mexico City churreria, El Moro.

On the menu, along with the sort of hot chocolate one drinks, is Chocolate Española, just that sort of thick chocolate meant more for dipping.

Since I've been in Houston, I've been searching for that sort of churros and chocolate. Hugo's makes pretty good churros, and a divine hot chocolate for drinking, but not a thick one for dipping.

Is anyone aware of a place that does sell churros and a thick hot chocolate dipping sauce?
