Yay, I finally had a taste of the Fried Chicken Cubes with Hot Pepper that I've been reading about. Only other place I've had it is at Shanghai Restaurant on Pioneer which isn't fried chicken but not a bad 2nd choice. Also tried Stir Fried Sliced Pork with Pickled Pepper--next time I'll ask for just a bit of pickled jalapeno peppers. My fave so far is Zhong Dumplings in Spicy-and-Numbing Sauce ($3.99 for 7 pcs.)--I can put that sauce on anything, heck I can just have a bowl of that instead of the soup that comes with the lunch special.
Lunch specials M-F from $4.99 - $6.99 with soup and steamed rice. Friendly service, the owner walks around to check on things, younger woman speaks and understands English a bit better so helpful with food description and recs. No appetizer bar but they do have pre-packaged at the counter.
Located at the 99 Ranch Market and Ten Ten, next to Lollicup. What should I try next? Apologies if I didn't upload the pix correctly and any other errors in this post. TA
