Chualar's La Milpa Organic Strawberries | Carmel & Pacific Grove

Melanie Wong | Mar 27, 201711:40 PM

La MIlpa is one of my favorite Salinas Valley growers. Last Monday I picked up a basked of organic strawberries at the Pacific Grove farmers market. These were the Albion cultivar, and even this early in the season they were fragrant and pretty sweet. Still a bit firm, they'll only get better and more luscious as the weather warms. Last year I was able to buy them at the Carmel Mission's Sunday morning farmstand too.
