We had a great dining experience in Vancouver. On Christmas day we didn't have many choices, so we went to shiraz grill on denaman and the food was just OK. On Friday morning we had a great brunch at the Provence by the water. The food was great and the view amazing. later that day we went to Death by chocolate due to high ratings and we tried a multitude of sins and it was good, but not great. That night we went to Maurya on broadway and that was one of the best indian foods we ever had. We tried prawn do plazza and goa chicken curry. You can get this dishes as a meal that comes with a delicious dall(I can still taste it), naan and rice. I could eat their food at least once a week. The service was good also. on saturday morning we had a great brunch at the Opus hotel(elixir) were we stayed. I had the scrambled eggs with smoke salmon and lentils and my husband had the omlete. The food was great and the service was slow, but nice. That night we went to the West. I had the sea tasting menu and my husband had the land. I liked every thing except for the fatty bacon that came with the scallop dish and was not impressed with the dessert. My husband didn't have a choice when it came to the cheese course. overall we had a good meal, but for the price you pay you can get a much better food else where. The service was very nice. The next day we went to Caffee Artigiano and we loved their latte and muffins. I highly recommand that place for all the coffee lovers. We also went to Senses and they have the best baked goods and desserts. we also bought a box of their chocolate and it was very good. that night we went to Kalamata on broadway and we had an amazing greek food. If you like souvlaki that is the place to go. We had the shrimp and the beef souvlaki and the beef was so tender and tasty,I can eat it every day. Overal it was a very nice experience and we love Vancouver.
