Christmas Party Lunch Recommendations for the Small Office

Thanks for Mutton | Sep 15, 200508:01 PM     1

I know its early for Christmas talk, but I need some recs for a great place to go for a nice long lunch on a Friday afternoon, right before the holidays. There are just five or six of us, so we don't need a seperate room or anything, but past experience has proven that staid restaurants probably aren't best for us or our neighbors (not that we are drunks, but...) Napa Valley or San francisco are both acceptable locations. Price is not really an issue, but a four star place would probably lack the holiday vibe we are seeking. Basically, what is the most festive chow worthy lunch restaurant suitable for a special occasion? TIA
