Christmas in July

munchkin1 | Jul 6, 201605:40 AM

Probably offt opic, but I am having a Christmas in July Party . Critique welcome. My family room is way cool enough for a low fire (though upstairs deck will be open) so don't want heavy food. Champagne to get the party started. Selection of wines: reds, whites, roses. Cocktails upon request with advance notice. Yuengling for the beer drinkers. Party trays: Pinwheels, Italian, turkey; shrimp cocktail; cheese taster (six cheeses plus cheese ball (and crackers) garnished with grapes), veggie tray (six veggies with ranch dip). Mixed nuts. Cute plate of black and green olives, pepperoncini, mini gherkins. Mixed nuts. Pub mix on the bar.People are bringing snacks to share. Dessert is coffee and Christmas cookies from a delightful bakery freshly baked that day. Chocolate kisses. I nixed liqueurs.
