Hello Chowhounds - For the first time in decades, our family Christmas Eve gathering is down from 25+ to seven. Ugh. So rather than shopping and cooking for such a small group, we are thinking of dinner out in the East Bay, where most of us live. We don't want a fixed menu. We love meat. We might want to bring a game or two, just for fun, so don't want much to be at a place that wants to turn the table. Suggestion?
Many thanks - Deirdre
