We loved Jones' cooking when he was at Brix/Napa. Really blossomed as a great talent after leaving Girl & Fig and taking the chef de cuisine position at Brix during 2011-2013. We still slaver over the memory of his amazing clam fritters...and we don't especially like clams, LOL. His pickles and salads were amazing, and really took advantage of the gardens he expanded at Brix (which are now mostly empty and dying, very sad).
