If J. Gold can do a top 40 for Koreatown, I know Chowhounders can do a top 10 for Little Saigon!
Finding a Vietnamese restaurant in Little Saigon is very intimidating for those not in the know. (Like me.) There are tons of places that look very similar with very similar prices, but I know the quality must differ wildly among the various places. What are your favorite places in the following categories? (These categories, btw, are far from exhaustive. I mention them just to help as a primer for myself. Feel free to add more!)
Soupy Noodles including Pho and Bun Bo Hue
Vietnamese Speciality Foods like Cha Ca or Mi Quang
Delicious All Around Vietnamese Bistro where you cant go wrong
Bo Ba Mon (Seven Courses of Beef)
(Ive only been to Anh Hoang in Little Saigon - seven courses of beef - and thought it was quite good. But thats the sum of my experience since I live in LA so I have very little to contribute on this list. Sorry!)
