Any chowhounds tried Tallula in the Castro District?

nja | Jul 17, 200302:42 PM     8

For the first time in my memory, a local food critic has reviewed a place before it is mentioned on chowhound (assuming the search feature is workin properly). Paul Reidinger of the Bay Guardian's review of Tallula--sort of an Indian tapas concept it seems--was very positive:

"Tallula... is apparently a Castro first: a restaurant whose food is so distinctive, and so splendid, that people from all over the city will – or at any rate should – brave the parking furies and the general tumult of heart-of-the-Castro 18th Street to eat there."

Any hounds tried it?
