After lurking for a short while, I am posting for the first time with a question. Does a chowhound have certain idiosyncrasies or quirks?
I must admit that my (homemade) egg salad sandwiches must be cut on the diagonal and eaten after being wrapped in plastic in the fridge for at least 2 hours. But only egg salad sandwiches must be prepared in this particular manner, I could eat any other type of sandwiches any old way.
And when having mashed potatoes, I've just got to make that little well for the gravy, or it doesn't seem quite right.
So, what are some of your quirks?
