Hope everyone had a nice holiday. I'm still recovering from gluttonous feasting on Thursday, but was curious what this brilliant group of culinarians had for their dinners. OK - maybe I'm just nosy, but I thought it would be interesting to compare menus. I'll start:
Pear and Gorgonzola quiche
Guacamole & chips
Oven fried eggplant and zucchini sticks
Cheese & pate
Barbequed turkey, Deep fried turkey
Oyster & cornbread stuffing, Sausage stuffing
Roasted potatoes, Brussel sprouts, String beans
Cranberry Jalapeno sauce, Cranberry Orange relish w/Grand Marnier
Wine: red - Beaujolais Morgon; white - Pinot Grigio
Pecan pie, Sweet potato pie, Pumpkin flan
YIKES! I actually woke up in the middle of the night see-sawing on my bloated little belly! But Thanksgiving is only once a year and I am thankful to have friends that are like family to spend it with.
