Once again, I am acting as a Tour Guide, showing New York to out-of-towners. The irony is I live in Los Angeles, having left there in 1977! Foodwise, thanks to your kind help, I've got it down pretty pat by now; Katz's, Barney Greengrass, John's Pizza (Bleecker), Gray's, F & B, Queens for Sirapaphai etc., but Chinese and Italian pose a dilemma: Do you take them to an old NY staple (Hop Wo, Hop Kee) or new wave (New Green Bo) and Italian (Luna, Puglia) or new wave (Frank or Max)? I try to keep things on a budget, as you can tell. What do you guys think??
