Anyone out there care to help out a chowhound that is headed to Salt Lake City for the Olympics? I've been to Utah before, but was too impressed with the dining options (and I added NOTHING to my restaurant matchbook collection the whole two weeks I was there). But maybe that was just because I didn't know where to look.
Our itinerary will find us in Southern Utah (Kanab area) for the first part of the week, and then up to SLC area (Midvale) for the later part of the week.
Since the the area will be quite busy and laden with tourists such as myself, I am particulary interested in the not-so-well-known places that not all the other people will be headed to. Are there any signature Utah dishes I should know about and try?
