Got a chowhound coming in from Boston, looking for cheap, interesting, asian- GO TEAM!

CK | May 10, 200503:14 PM     20

We will have five days or so, we will be all over the bay area- our base of ops is Palo Alto, but we will be in the city and over in Oakland for some A's-Sox games. We don't have a ton of moolah. Our one big dinner is looking like it will be Kaygetsu in Menlo Park. Places I have been to in the city that have been great: Thai House Express, Pagolac, and Burma Superstar. Restaurant recommends along these lines would be great (don't have to be asian). A place for a great Cubano sandwich would be cool. A rec for best carnitas would be great. We are thinking about hitting Hama in San Jose and Cam Huong in Oakland (dumplings and banh mi, respectively). These are the types of recs we need help with. Thanks!
