Chowdown invite: Royal Garden Seafood (Chinese) in Newark

Han Lukito | Jul 26, 200507:59 PM

I found a great mid-level Chinese restaurant recently in Newark and fell in love with their outstanding dishes. Check the link below.

Any hounds want to give a try ? Pls email me privately and see if we have enough people to go to make it interesting.

I had dishes like "Beef Filet Stuff Enoki Mushroom w/Teriyaki Sauce" which is unusual for a chinese restaurant. I think they are innovative and the chef clearly had great skills. It was very tender and the butter sauce is outstanding indeed.

I would like to explore their many interesting dishes, so we need adventurous chowhounds who are not afraid to try things that are a bit unusual. We won't have crocodile meat or snakes. This restaurant is good with their unsual dishes preps I think. Some dishes had western influences clearly in them.

Plan to spend $15-25 per person (no wine) incl tips.

Again, email me privately if you are interested. I prefer Saturday dinners.
