Chow in Lafayette... brunch this time

jay | Feb 8, 200404:49 PM

Hi there,

Just had a nice brunch here.

My wife had eggs benedict, said they were the best she had, I had a bite... yum!!!

The salad was with a nice tarragon dressing (request this, the oil and vinegar is the default)

I had the pork carnitas with scrambled eggs, beans, and tortillas... delicious, filling without being greasy... the dish came w/black beans and a nice amount of sour cream and avocado, along with nice amount of a fresh salsa...

we also split a short stack of blueberry pancakes, I made a request of this to the waiter...

Overall, excellent, but it gets crowded (as you know), so enjoy yourself... now that we have moved to WC, nice to know we don't have to hop all the way over to Rick and Ann's and Rockridge Diner to have a nice breakfast...
