Possible Chow Find (Asian Grocery - Fairfax)

Moe Green | Jan 2, 200308:45 AM     7

I apologize if this has been mentioned here before, but I stumbled across what I think is a "newish" asian grocery store called Super H Mart on Lee Highway in Fairfax (across from Paul the IV high school).

I would definitely suspect that it is part of a chain and this place is BIG as it used to be a Super Fresh grocery store. It is stocked wall to wall with great stuff.

It seemed like it would give both Lotte and the other place at Gallows and Lee Highway some worthy competition. I thought the seafood looked excellent including the massive 5-10 pound lobsters.

The best thing about it is that the bar codes on the shelves have basic english descriptions of the items.
