Chow Emergency: The Road to Pittsburgh

JeffB | Oct 18, 200212:59 PM

The family and I are making a spur-of-the-moment road trip to the Iron City to visit family this afternoon. The journey takes about 6.5 hours and involves the great rust-belt towns of Northern Indiana and Ohio. Is there anywhere that we must stop at or around the midway point or slightly beyond (hours3-4)? We're not looking to get far off of the Interstate or to sample the top cuisine of Toledo or the western exurbs of Cleveland. We're looking for road food. I want Chiacgoans' perspective on this, so I'm not posting on what might seem like more relevant boards. Thanks.
