"Chow-approved" dinner suggestion where I can watch Sunday night game?

WestCoastEater | Oct 4, 201312:53 PM

I can't believe how fortunate I am to visit your food haven every few months for work and thanks to everyone here for pointing me to the great eats I have enjoyed so far.

This Sunday I have a late reservation at Bavette's, but just realized it will coincide with an important game I would like to watch (that might sound pathetic, but we all have our hobbies).

#1- Does anyone know if Bavette's has a TV (I'm doubting it)? Bar seating is fine.
#2- If Bavette's doesn't work for me, where could I see a game and enjoy great food (after 900p or so)? I don't need to stay there for the whole game.

A few of my Chicago favorites have included Longman & Eagle, Publican, Avec, Girl & Goat, Sable, SlurpingTurtle, Au Cheval, Lula, Mercat, Purple Pig, Frontera, GT Oyster, etc.

I prefer places I haven't been, but that is not an absolute requirement if you know any of the above has an easy-to-view TV.

All cuisines are good in my book and price-wise something consistent with the places above would be ideal.

Thanks and I look forward to your thoughts...
