Choucroute Garni and Coq au Vin in Paris?

roux42 | Jan 25, 201503:30 PM     33

Hello folks,

We will be in Paris for 6 nights beginning on February 2nd and I would really like to eat an amazing Choucroute as well a well prepared Coq au Vin. Any suggestions? We are staying in the 6th, we move around well and my French is passable. We tend to eat in casual restaurants and my husband will not have a tie or jacket with him. That being said, we do not mind paying a few extra Euros for a good meal (the exchange rate is in our favor on this trip).

On another note, I need to purchase a few good knives as gifts, any ideas?

Thank you in advance!
