Hi, you all:
I just came back from Chosun Galbee in Koreatown. I went there with some Korean friends. We had the Kalbee, teh ji bul go ki, and seafood pancake. The panchan was above average. The Kalbee was NOT marinated well. I have had way better Kalbee. The bul go ki was good. The seafood pajun was very average. The place was pricey and I was embarrassed that my out of town Korean friends said is this what LA has to offer.
I thought this is supposed to be the best in Koreatown. Anyone from New York/New Jersey knows Han Il Kwan in Fort Lee. That places blows this place away hands down.
Any suggestions on future outings to K-Town? Maybe Tahoe Galbee, Shik Do Rak, or Woo Lae Ok?
I really need an outstanding place to impress my out of town guests next time.
