I have a new baby so I do things in small jobs these days. Almost everything I cook involves chopping onions. I have a perfect window of time every morning to chop the onions, but I have to finish the rest of dinner in the afternoon. Is there a way of storing the onions for 6 or so hours without totally ruining everything in my refridgerator? I've tried putting them in a plastic container and then in a huge ziplock bag. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
