I noticed a few earlier posts about Cholita, the new Peruvian place on Smith St, and thought I'd chip in my vegetarian 2 cents.
I met friends there for dinner (both meat eaters) recently, and as I expected the menu was very meat-heavy. The only veggie entree was pasta--"great," I thought, "gummy noodles with a few bland vegetable pieces thrown into the bowl," as I find is typically the uninspired veggie offering at many meat-oriented restaurants.
However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the pasta was nicely seasoned and filled with good vegetables, and made for a thoroughly enjoyable meal.
So if you're a herbivore contemplating Cholita, you might not have many choices, but the pasta won't disappoint--and they have several good desserts to choose from, too.
