Well, no food report this time as the service was so awful we left. I arrived just after 7 last night and found the dining room half empty. I don't like the two top tables in the middle of the restaurant and asked the hostess if we could have a banquette instead. But even in a half empty restaurant, their policy is to keep those tables for parties of three or more. I wasn't going to argue with the hostess so I let it go. So I was seated at a table in the back, behind a wall, next to the bathroom. It was the Invisible Zone. I was served a glass of water by the busboy and then waited some ten to fifteen minutes for my husband to arrive, during which time my presence was ignored by the server who was working the back room. When my husband arrived and sat down, the same server came back and forth half a dozen times and ignored us each time until my husband finally got his attention. It turns out he wasn't assigned to the Table by the Bathroom, and the server who was "was busy". We decided this evening was going nowhere good fast so we left. I think I'll give them a few more months to settle in and see if they can work out their service issues. On our first visit, the waiter didn't bother to tell my husband they'd run out of his entree; instead they subsituted another lamb dish he wasn't really in the mood for. I want to like this place and I'll give them the benefit of the doubt again, but probably not til I hear a few really good reviews.
