Does anyone else have issues of these in their basement, long forgotten? Another thread recently asked about a recipe from this magazine, and while looking through them I was whisked back to the era of extravagant, chocolate-y desserts. They were SO good.
I am thinking of choosing a few recipes and trying them. In these frugal, fresh, farm-to-food, low fat, no carb, no dairy, etc., times, maybe we need something wicked to break things up a bit (I probably ate at least sixteen different fruits and vegetables yesterday alone).
Anyone with me? Oh, and does anyone have a handle on whether the sugar needs to be cut back a bit in these recipes or not?
