I bought some chocolate milk today that had gone bad. I took it back and got another bottle, and it had gone bad the same way.
What was odd was (1) it was five days before the sell by date and (2) I'd never seen milk gone bad that way: it was all viscous and slimy. Frankly, it looked like chocolate snot.
Any ideas what might have been wrong with it? I have a theory it had something to do with the corn syrup -- it sort of reminded me of some maple syrup I had that had partially coagulated.
