Cho Dang Tofu - Torrance / South Bay

We have been looking for a good Korean restaurant in the South bay for a while, and have finally found one - ChoDang Tofu on Hawthorne (near Sepulveda) in Torrance. Its a small place that was pretty crowded on a Saturday night. They are known for their tofu soups, which have a kim chee base. We ordered the mushroom tofu soup, and it was delicious - the tofu was very silky and melted in your mouth. We also ordered the bi bim bap and the beef short ribs - all were very good, and were served in clay pots that kept the dishes very hot the entire meal. The short ribs were served with a scissor (!) which made it easy to slice the meat off the bone. Will definitely return.

Address: 22549 Hawthorne Blvd in Torrance
