Chino Bandido and Angel Sweet

Hounds,

Had a friend in from Portland who is vegetarian. We were debating a few choices in the southest valley and decided to give the Chino Bandido / Angel Sweet combo a try! To whomever suggested...great job..

Chino is a hoot. They go through this whole complex ordering process with you that feels like you should get some sort of a certification when you are done, but they are friendly, give you samples of stuff as they go. The food is really good. I was trying to visualize the Mexican/Chinese mix. It actually is a fairly easy concept. Think Kyoto Bowl with better Asian food and instead of just rice bowl options they also give you the option to have your food thrown in a Quesedilla or a Burrito!

We crossed the street and enjoyed Gelato from Angel Sweet afterwards and it was amazing too. Light, tasty italian decadence...mmmmmmm
