Chinese Vegetables-???Double Standard???

For the third time in recent memory, Chinese vegetable orders, at Chowhound-known food palaces, have arrived only to disappoint.

I DO NOT WANT TO BELIEVE this, but...are non-Chinese diners allocated the lesser STEM-sections of mustard greens, choisum, bokchoi and other supposed "leafy" vegetables?

This phenomenon is getting old, as surrounding (Oriental)customers partake in bright deep-green leaves, where I pick through Chinese broccoli stem-cuts. Saturday night in Flushing was so intolerable, I returned an order of "mustard greens(disguised as truncated bok choi) with black mushrooms" to the kitchen.

AAMOF, where black mushrooms are indicated, VERY often-times the platter arrives with canned and lifeless straw mushrooms.

Any concurrence on this?
