Chinese Restaurants in Fresno, what's your favorite?

I had posted about my disappointment with China Chili in a previous post (04/05/06, link below) and Mere had asked what my favorite places were.

Right now, my hubby and I are completely hooked on a take-out place called Little Peking on the corner of Cedar and Nees. It is a serious hole-in-the-wall, with a few tables and chairs for eating, but mostly for take-out. I have been eating there since college and I absolutely love it! It is kind of a Sichuan-style place with rock-bottom prices. For lunch they serve plates with entree, rice, and soda for $4.50, beats McDonalds every time.

I really like it because they don't dumb down their sauce, it is spicy and flavorful. They don't have any sweet sauces on anything. I know that is not everyone's cup of tea, but it works for me. They have old standbys like chow mein, egg rolls, and cashew chicken. They also have more interesting selections like salt/pepper squid, mango chicken, and other specials.

It is a family-owned business, mom works the counter and helps dad in the kitchen. The kids also help out as well. The dad doesn't really speak English and the mom only a little bit, so I don't really know their background.

I haven't really found a nice "sit-down" Chinese place in Fresno that can compare with the flavors from Little Peking. It seems that there are some great Thai/Vietnamese places (LemonTree and Kim's) that serve good food with table service, but not so many Chinese restaurants.

Oh well...take out for now. Any suggestions from Fresno hounds?
