planning a trip to China to revisit family and friends, wish to embark on a food eating extraganza in china of all the little unknown places of local delicacies. Places tour guides would think twice before taking a foreigner to patronize. I have heard about and wish to discover the art of "La-Mian" in person from start of kneading the dough to hand pulling the noodles to differ sizes and shapes. I find that masterskill of Chinese gastronomy to be completely amazing. where to find this lost art? I would imagine in Northern China; Beijing? But, I have also heard of it in szechuan provence?thanks in advance.
