Chinese hot pot in Atlanta? Also looking for izakayas

PekoePeony | Aug 24, 200405:24 PM     11

My brother and I will be visiting my dad (who lives in Marietta) this November for his 60th birthday, and we were thinking of taking him for lunch to a Chinese hot pot place. Can anyone recommend some in the Atlanta area? There are quite a few of these in the San Francisco area where I live, some of which are AYCE where you get the raw ingredients from a buffet, and some where you have a choice of broths and order the ingredients (usually better quality) from a menu. But I'm not sure if there are any around the Atlanta area, so we would really appreciate any help!

Also, I've heard that there are some izakayas around Atlanta, do you have any recommendations for the best ones? My brother (who lives in Manhattan) and I visit these quite regularly where we live and love them, so if there are any good ones around Atlanta we'd like to give them a try while we're out there.

Thanks!
