Qingdao used to have great dumplings, but their new dumpling maker just doesn't cut it with me -- too many leak during cooking, the dumplings are too small, and the ratio of filling to dumpling is also too small.
Wang's are definitely better than Qingdao's, but are also not nearly as good as the old Qingdao dumplings. I know that New Taste of Asia doesn't sell frozen dumplings anymore and Beijing Star in Waltham does, but I don't get out there very often.
Any chowhound finds for true homestyle northern chinese frozen dumplings? Please don't recommend anything from Super 88! Or better yet, anyone know where the Qingdao dumpling maker went?
My favorites are the pork with leek, vegetarian leek, and pork with green bean. TIA.
