Help with Chinese ducks

Something happened to my previous post. I am wondering about buying a cooked duck from an Asian butcher near me, in SF. Do they need to be eaten right away, or are they like roasted chicken, and taste just as good at room temp? I've always wanted to buy one but don't really know what to do with one. Thanks
