Chinese Dry-Fried Beef

Anyone ever see this? The beef comes out in sharp spikes, very dry and chewy and spicy (and fabulous). I ordered it once in a rest. in Chinatown in NYC and the manager was so impressed he gave me an order of scallion rolls gratis, since that's its traditional accompaniment. I have never seen it in any Chinese rest. since, in NY or LA or anywhere.
