Chinese Candy

JS | Jul 19, 200401:59 AM

Does anyone know where I can buy more traditional types of Chinese candy? The particular type I'm looking for looks like white strands of silk wrapped around crushed dry peanut powder. The white strands are spun sugar and stretched until they're thread thin and then wrapped around a small bundle of peanut power.

They tend to be hand made but I'd be very happy to buy a pre-packaged box. I think the name is "Dragon Beard Candy." Have any of the more experienced Chinese shoppers heard of this and know where to buy it?
