I just bought a carp fresh out of the tank...I'd love to make a soup in my clay pot, but I'm not a very good off-the-cuff soup person...I have recipes for Vietnamese and Korean fish soups, which I love, but I'm trying to replicate, or come close, to the seafood in clay pot at a Taiwanese resto. I adore...(Boston board readers will know WHICH one; stop laughing.. :) )....Anyway, it was pretty lite, had dried shrimp for flavor, lots of that crinkly cabbage, tofu, broth, scallions...I can kind of wing it; I just need to know the basic order I should use to throw stuff in, and any ing. I might not have thought of...I've searched all the recipe websites, and can't find anything close...My apologies if in my ignorance, I have chosen to use this wonderful fish for anything other than it's trad. preparation...If anyone has any other carp-friendly recipes, I'd love to try them, also!! Thank you!!
