OK, I'm sure that the answer to this question is somewhere on the board but I couldn't find it...
An old business school professor of mine is holding a conference on Chinese Management in San Francisco in the spring. He wants to hold a Chinese dinner for around 20 people. Participants are going to include CEOs of some of the largest Chinese and American companies, so it has to be someplace that is going to meet the expectations of some pretty well-educated and demanding palates.
Like lots of this board's regulars, I'm a fan of R&G Lounge, but I don't think they'll get the kind of atmosphere they're looking for there. What's the thinking on Harbor Village? Tommy Toy's? What other nearby restaurants would you suggest? They don't have unlimited budget, but they could probably do around $50/person, maybe a bit more.
