Chinese & American BBQ in Sacramento

I know, two subjects, but my friend and I are really particular about these two food catagories. We want a really good, not expensive Chinese that serves super good Hot and Sour soup. Also, we like our spicy dishes (kung pao, etc.) spicy. Most Chinese here in Sac. don't make it spicy enough.
Next, we have tried JR's and the Texas BBQ on Fulton. Good, butnot really impressive. We had BBQ in Albuquerque before we moved here, and we compare everything to it. Help please, I really need a hot and sour fix.
