Chinatown Supermarket looks close to opening

small h | Oct 29, 2013 09:20 PM

As I was cruising in my stretch limo today (aka the M22), I noticed that the ground floor of the hotel on the southwest corner of Pike & E B'way was covered with colorful signage advertising the Chinatown Supermarket. I think this is where the Hong Kong Supermarket used to be, right? the one that burned down? Apparently, it is being resurrected. What I saw looked bright and spacious, so I'm looking forward to checking the place out once it's open for business.
