MAKE time when you are in the City by the Bay to go to my favourite restaurant on top of Nob Hill. The Dining Room in the Ritz is sooo good I have recurring dreams of dining there at least once a week. The service can only be described as perfect and the ambience is cool elegance but in the best possible taste. It doesn't take much to imagine you are in a posh restaurant in the Val de la Loire (Loire Valley) of France. This is not the place to have Freedom Fries but the foie gras is outstanding! Celine the Pastry Chef works her magic to produce mouth watering creations like Coffee and Caramel Bombe and Hazelnut and Gianduja Chocolate Ritz "Palais Or"! So sinful, so seductive and yet so tempting I confess I give in to temptation every time...What the hell, Life is uncertain so eat dessert first. That is my motto!
