Chinatown Cafe: Baltimore

baltoellen | Jun 1, 2004 10:45 AM

Ate a late night snack at Chinatown Cafe on Saturday night. It was about the 8th time I've been there, and I swear, it gets better each time.

The really great thing was that we got to order from the dim sum menu at night. Had perfectly cooked chinese broccoli with just the right amount of oyster sauce. Amazing shrimp shu mai, salt and pepper shrimp, and fish maw soup with crab. All excellent.

Also, there are a choice of teas. Went for the crysanthmum tea; when we finished the pot, we saw the tons of flowers taking up about a quater of the pot.

We don't have many choices for Chinese in Charm City, but at least the one we have is really great!

Anyway, thought I'd remind people of this place, just in case anyone's forgetten about it!
