I went to Chinatown Cafe at the weekend, and got pork congee, sausage with (a little)cilantro and sticky rice, and beancurd skin stuffed with shrimp. Unlike other Baltimore Chinese restaurants, it did taste a little like the food in China, but a watered down version that lacked spark. Is this all that I can expect from the place, or did I make a mistake in what I ordered? I took advice from the owner, but maybe got the 'weiguoren' version.

I've been missing Chinese food (and Chinese people) since I came back, and want to relive some of the flavors. Thanks!
