Thank you, Suefoo, for telling us about Rising Tide (Race St., between 9th and 10th, closer to 10th.)

We were there last night and enjoyed every dish. My husband proclaimed the hot-and-sour soup as good as what he gets at Lee How Fook, his standard. The crispy duck with minced shrimp was different and delicious. The dumplings were delicate, with a thin wrapper. Lots of salt-baked goodies, too.

They have a full bar, and prices were reasonable. We will be definitely be back. Another Chowhound find, thanks to Suefoo.
