Howdy- I am in this great city for a few days. In reading the board about Chicago I saw the suggestion for Chinatown. Could someone please recomend some specific spots for non-american chinese? I'm looking for real Chinese no matter fom what region.

Also, I am staying in Arlington Hts. Going to Chinatown is no problem but I wouldn't mind some place around here either.

BTW, I've read a little of the mexican and taco threads. Here's my little pearl that I found on a previous trip. El Rodeo in Streamwood is worth the drive!!! The decor is like Freida Kahlo meets Gaughin, very colorful and friendly. They serve yummy chili rellanos. Their chorizo is a good one. THere shredded beef tastes like the nicest potroast you've ever had but is moist not dry. The salsa they make and serve... out of this world! Not too much onion and made with grilled tomatoes.
